The City of Hackensack Fire Department has released its year-end activity report, outlining another high-volume year of emergency response across the city.

During 2025, the department responded to a total of 6,691 calls for service. Firefighters handled a wide range of incidents throughout the year, including fire suppression, rescue operations, and other emergency responses. Department leadership stated that public safety remained the top priority, with crews staffed and ready to respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year. On behalf of Chief Rosazza and the members of the department, officials thanked residents for their continued support. Members of Hackensack Fire Fighters IAFF Local 2081 and Hackensack Fire Officers IAFF Local 3172 echoed that message, wishing the Hackensack community a safe and happy New Year.
