WHITMAN, MASSACHUSETTS (PLYMOUTH COUNTY) - Around 2130 hours on the evening of Thursday, January 16, 2024 the Whitman Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of 545 Franklin Street (Route-27). Companies arrived to find a two vehicle accident with no injuries. The accident occurred when a vehicle traveling northbound on Route-27 collided with an unoccupied vehicle parked on the side of the road. No injuries were reported. Route-27 was closed for a period of time while the vehicles were removed.
