Residents of the Borough of Lodi are urged to remove snow from any fire hydrants near or in front of their homes as a big winter storm is predicted to bring substantial precipitation this weekend. In order for firemen to swiftly connect to a water supply during an emergency, hydrants must be kept readily available. In order to prepare for storm-related incidents and guarantee coordinated response efforts during the storm, municipal officials are closely collaborating with the Lodi Police Department, Lodi Office of Emergency Management, and Lodi Ambulance Corps. Residents are advised to report any emergencies by calling 9-1-1 right away and to limit their travel during severe weather. During winter storms, community collaboration facilitates the safe and effective operation of emergency personnel.
