Bay Head, NJ — January 4 — Residents and responders are being informed by the Bay Head Fire Company No. 1, situated at 81 Bridge Avenue, of a road closure that would impact the region. The Lovelandtown Bridge has been closed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation as of January 5, according to information made public by the Point Pleasant Police Department. In order to accommodate planned construction, the closure is anticipated to last for four to eight weeks. There are designated detours, and drivers are urged to heed the signage. In order to maintain coverage, local emergency services organizations are examining response routes and modifying operations as necessary. During the closure, drivers are advised to slow down in detour zones, stay vigilant, and yield to emergency vehicles using alternate roads.
