NEWBURGH, NY – On January 21st, Winona Lake Fire Department responded to a rollover tractor-trailer at mile marker 62.2 southbound on the New York Thruway. Upon arrival, firefighters found the tractor-trailer rolled over in the southbound ditch. Crews checked the vehicle for hazards and stood by for a heavy-duty wrecker. New York State Police and the Department of Transportation were on scene. The southwest lane was completely closed during the incident. Town of Newburgh EMS also responded. The New York State Police are investigating the cause.
