Crews Make Quick Stop of Attic Fire in Plaistow

PLAISTOW, NH - On the frigid cold 10-degree winter day of January 18th, Plaistow communication center received a E-911 call around 3:30 P.M. reporting a possible fire in the attic of a single-family home. The first company on scene reported smoke showing from the roof line and 39C-1 Chief requested a working fire, bringing in several mutual aid towns to work or to cover the station. Companies were able to make a quick stop and save the home from major damage. No injuries were reported.
