Station 37 Units Operate at Hillsborough Tractor-Trailer Fire

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - A reported tractor-trailer fire on Valley Road, January 10th, prompted the Hillsborough Twp. Station 37 Fire. When arriving units discovered a tractor-trailer fire, they started suppression efforts right away. In order to stop the fire from spreading to neighboring cars and reducing further risks in the region, crews used handlines to contain the fire.


C37, DC37, and Tanker 37 were among the responding equipment from Station 37. Firefighters used the incident command system while keeping an eye out for hotspots in the car and its surroundings. There were no reported injuries. Before resuming to service, units stayed on the site to make sure the fire was completely put out and the situation was safe.
