Andover, NH — 29th December — Fire, EMS, and highway personnel responded to many occurrences throughout the town on a busy day for Andover, NH Emergency Services. A robust dispatch center was essential to the day-to-day coordination of operations. Ten 911 calls were answered by fire department personnel, while other situations were handled by direct communication between firefighters, Highway Department crews, and locals.

Additionally, Lakes Region Mutual Fire Aid offered assistance in maintaining coordination and coverage during times of heightened activity. The burden, according to officials, demonstrated the strain on a small volunteer department. With expectations for a more peaceful day ahead, crews stayed dedicated to serving the community and carried on with operations into the evening.
