Hiker Airlifted After Serious Incident on Pillsbury State Park Trail

Newbury, NH - On 13 February a serious incident occurred at Pillsbury State Park in neighboring Washington. The park, located along the Sunapee-Kearsarge-Ragged Trail that continues past Lake Solitude on Mount Sunapee, was the site of the emergency.
New London Ambulance transported the patient to the Washington Fire Department, where they were met by the DHART helicopter for transport to the hospital. Authorities remind hikers to exercise caution and ride safely on the trail.
