Engine Company 1's first arrival discovered a sizable chicken coop completely occupied. Firefighters secured the area and swiftly put out the flames. Responding workers' actions allowed four hens and a duck to survive the event. No injuries were reported, and no other animals were hurt. The cause of the fire is still being looked into.
