Hampton, NH — 30th December — A new communications system has been implemented by Hampton Fire/Rescue for both police and fire operations. Additionally, the improved system increases radio coverage in Hampton Falls, where Hampton is the Hampton Falls Fire Department's dispatch agency.
The project replaced equipment that had been in use for more than 25 years and took more than two years to construct. According to officials, the new system offers better coverage, clearer broadcasts, and greater dependability for both large emergencies and daily replies. The impact on local taxpayers was limited because funding was mostly obtained through federal grants. The technology reinforces the importance of reliable communications in responder safety and efficient emergency management by facilitating coordinated operations with the Town of Hampton, New Hampshire, and the Hampton Police Department.
