Chief Ray Dyer Honored for 55 Years of Fire Service

Chief Ray Dyer and every member honoured at Locke Fire & Rescue's annual banquet received compliments from the Genoa Volunteer Fire Department. Those present recognised Chief Dyer's incredible 55 years of service, which included 48 years as chief. His career was characterised by leadership, devotion, and community involvement. Genoa Fire praised the strong mutual aid connection between the agencies and thanked Locke Fire members for the invitation. Chief Dyer has continuously helped nearby agencies in times of need as a crucial mutual aid partner. His long-standing dedication to Southern Cayuga County fire safety initiatives as well as the Locke neighbourhood was acknowledged by Genoa Fire. The department expressed gratitude to Chief Dyer for decades of steadfast service and commitment.
