In their December 2025 call report, the Findley Lake Volunteer Fire Department detailed a consistent mix of emergency responses during the holiday season and winter weather occurrences. Eight ALS and three BLS dispatches were among the eleven EMS calls the department handled throughout the month, and eight patients were transported. On two occasions, fire crews received mutual aid support after responding to two fire-related occurrences, which included one fire and one car collision.

The challenging finish of the year was attributed, according to department officials, to late-month weather and holiday activity. The department extended thanks to mutual aid partners for their continued support and mentorship, and to community members who limited travel during hazardous conditions. As 2026 begins, the department reaffirmed its commitment to serving the Findley Lake community and maintaining strong regional partnerships.
