CONCORD, NH - City firefighters extinguished a small garage fire early Wednesday evening, January 12th. The Box came in at 7:30 P.M. reporting a shed type building on fire at 71 Manchester Street. Flames where seen from South Main Street and Engine 7 arrived to find a small garage approximately 25'X25' well involved. A Working Fire was assigned and firefighters made for a quick knock down. An adjacent home and nearby vehicle had some minor exposure damage. Despite the snow and cold, firefighters did not have trouble accessing hydrants. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation. A Hooksett Engine and Hopkinton Ambulance covered the city during the incident.
