FREMONT, NH — December 20 — A two-alarm structure fire in the neighbourhood was attended to by the Fremont NH Fire Rescue Department, which is situated at 425 Main Street in Fremont, New Hampshire. The planned Santa Claus parade was shortened in order to reallocate firefighters and equipment to emergency operations due to the resources needed to handle the situation.

While upholding scene safety and responsibility, firefighters worked alongside mutual assistance partners at the structure fire. During the event, no injuries were recorded. Although the town values community activities, fire and emergency medical services are still primarily in charge of responding to emergencies. Residents and parade participants were thanked by the department for their cooperation and understanding.
