On December 1, 2025, at 17:12 hours, the Hardwick Fire Department was toned for mutual aid to Hutchins Farm Road in Stannard for a reported structure fire. Engines 1 and 2, along with Water 1, responded to the incident and operated on scene for several hours. Firefighters remained committed through the evening and overnight, with the final apparatus returning to quarters at approximately 01:00 hours on December 2, marking the conclusion of a lengthy and coordinated mutual aid operation.
