Three Transported After Evening Crash in Shelton

On the evening of January 7, Companies 3 and 1 of the Shelton Fire Department responded to a reported motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bridgeport Avenue and Huntington Street. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that all occupants were out of the vehicle. Three occupants were evaluated on scene and transported to a local trauma facility by Echo Hose Ambulance Corps for further medical assessment. Car 3, operated by Assistant Chief Mattioli, served as Incident Commander. Rescue 30 and Engine 32 operated on scene, securing the area and assisting EMS personnel. Company 1 was returned to service prior to arrival.
