The Stamford Volunteer Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in Readsboro on Dec. 17, 2025, at 9:16 a.m. The call, logged as incident #611, brought Stamford Fire units to assist at the scene as part of ongoing mutual aid cooperation between neighboring communities. Crews worked alongside responding agencies to ensure scene safety and provide support as needed before clearing the incident.
