Stamford Fire Provides Mutual Aid Support to Readsboro on Consecutive Calls

Members of the Stamford Volunteer Fire Department responded to two mutual aid requests to the Town of Readsboro on Dec. 15 and Dec. 16, 2025. On Dec. 15 at 9:05 a.m., Stamford Fire was dispatched to assist with a motor vehicle accident; however, units were canceled while en route as the situation was handled by responding agencies. The following morning, Dec. 16 at 8:57 a.m., Stamford Fire again responded mutual aid to Readsboro for a medical assistance call, continuing the department’s commitment to regional cooperation and emergency response readiness.
