Engine 92-E3 Officially Placed in Service in Readsboro

Dec. 19, 2025 — The Readsboro Fire Department announced that its newest fire engine, 92-E3, has officially been placed into service, strengthening the department’s emergency response capabilities.

After weeks of preparation that included outfitting equipment, pump training, and driver training, the engine is now fully operational and ready to respond to calls throughout the community and the surrounding mutual aid area. The addition of 92-E3 marks an important upgrade for the department, enhancing reliability, safety, and operational efficiency for firefighters and residents alike.

Department members expressed appreciation for the teamwork and training efforts that made the transition possible, as well as the continued support of the Town of Readsboro and its residents in improving local emergency services.
