Dec. 7, 2025 — Members of the Readsboro Fire Department took a major step forward this week as crews began placing the department’s new Engine 92-E3 into service. The day included equipment placement, familiarization, and hands-on driver training to ensure the engine is ready for emergency response.
Department officials said the training marks the transition from delivery and preparation to active readiness, with members learning the vehicle’s handling, pump operations, and onboard systems. The addition of 92-E3 enhances the department’s operational capabilities and improves response reliability for the Readsboro community.
