During the last week of the year and into the New Year, Arkport Hose Co. #1 Inc. answered a number of calls. In response to a potential structure fire in the 7000 block of Seneca Road North in the Town of Hornellsville, Arkport was sent on mutual aid to the North Hornell Fire Department on Sunday, December 28, at 9:57 a.m. An electrical odour was stated as the cause of the call. After a malfunctioning light fixture was discovered, Engine 69, Car 2, and Car 201 were cancelled while in route.

After an electrical outlet was discovered to be overheating at 10:46 a.m., units were re-dispatched to the same spot.

Every Arkport unit was housed in quarters. Arkport units were sent to Grove Street in the Village on Wednesday, December 31, at 4:48 p.m. due to several gas and CO alarms. Car 2, Engine 69, Rescue 38, and Car 201 arrived. An alarm system malfunction was found to be the cause.

On Thursday, January 1, at 8:48 a.m., crews were dispatched to West Avenue in the Village for a reported cardiac arrest. Medic 2, Car 2, and Car 201 responded along with Hornell City Ambulance.
