Mendham, New Jersey — January 7 — Chief Orgera takes over with a track record of leadership and service in the fire department. His appointment comes after the department's ongoing emphasis on preparedness, training, and coordinated response with Morris County mutual assistance partners and local leaders.

Orgera will be in charge of emergency response planning, firefighter training, and day-to-day operations as Chief. In order to assist department staffing, equipment needs, and community risk reduction initiatives, he will also collaborate closely with town leadership.
