First-alarm companies were called to a reported residence fire shortly after midnight on Christmas Eve. When Chief 245 arrived on time, the homeowner was outside reporting a fire in an upstairs bathroom. After entering, the chief and the Robinson Township Police Department used a portable extinguisher to put out the fire.
Soon after, Rescue 245 and Truck 209 came, found a small expansion, and finished the work. First-alarm teams looked for additional fire spread while ventilating the house. All units were restored to service unharmed once the issue was limited to the region of origin. With help from responding mutual aid partners, the Moon Run Volunteer Fire Company managed the reaction.
