HONEY BROOK TWP., PA - On April 7th at 8:41 P.M., Station 33 along with EMS were dispatched to the 2200 BLK of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Township for a reported motor vehicle accident. Crews were still on-station following an earlier incident, with both Chief 33 and Rescue 33 making the response roughly 60 seconds from dispatch.
Chief 33 arrived to find one vehicle on its side, resting up against a residence, with wires down and the vehicle’s operator trapped. The incident was upgraded and Chief 33 established the “Horseshoe Pike Command”. Crews confirmed the working area was safe from all overhead hazards before starting the extrication process.
Personnel from R33 and E331 stabilized the vehicle and swiftly extricated one patient, who was transported to a local area hospital.
