As 2025 ends, the Watchung Fire Department took some time to consider a year that was characterized by community involvement, cooperation, and dedication. The department had 386 service requests in 2025, a significant rise from 300 in 2024. Every call was a genuine emergency, and volunteers responded day and night.

Members dealt with a variety of situations during the year, including emergency service calls, hazardous situations, fires, and rescues. When the town was affected by severe weather and flooding on July 14, one of the most difficult reactions took place. Volunteers put up endless effort to support locals, reduce risks, and keep Watchung secure during a crucial time.

The Watchung Fire Department sincerely thanks the people and supporters of Watchung for their unwavering faith and assistance. The department is eager to carry out its work in the upcoming year and is still happy to serve the community.
