In October, the Southbridge Fire Department sent Groups 3 and 4 to the Chief Roger Belhumeur Regional Training Facility in Auburn for a full day of live-fire exercises. Firefighters trained in incident command, fire suppression, and vertical ventilation, rotating through realistic working-fire scenarios. The drill emphasized communication, coordination, and maintaining control under simulated high-stress conditions.
