Herkimer, N.Y. — October 5, 2026 — Herkimer Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2484 visited St. ( the rest is cut off) Students and staff at Francis De Sales School will begin Fire Prevention Week with a presentation.
Firefighters spoke about fire safety, what to do during a fire, and steps families can take to protect their homes and communities. Students visited a school to learn from emergency responders and ask fire prevention questions.
