Noroton Fire Department, in the Town of Darien, operated this 1972 Maxim-F 1500/500 as Engine 31. The department still owns and maintains this apparatus for parade use. The current NFD Engine 1 is a 2015 Spartan MetroStar/Marion 1500/650.
