Livingston Firefighters Take Part in Tunnel to Towers 5K

New York, N.Y. — September 27, 2026 — On Sunday, members of the Livingston Fire Department traveled to New York City to take part in the 25th annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, joining thousands of others paying tribute to those who died on September 11, 2001.
The annual event follows in the footsteps of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, who ran through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel toward the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, after the attacks. Siller was one of the 343 FDNY firefighters who died that day.
