Driver Hospitalized Following Single-Vehicle Accident on Eagle Rock Avenue

Roseland, NJ - Emergency responders were dispatched to Eagle Rock Avenue early Tuesday morning following a single-vehicle crash that resulted in one individual being hospitalized.

At approximately 12:15 a.m. on September 29, 2026, the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Eagle Rock Avenue in the vicinity of Prudential Drive. Responding units included Squad 662, Command 660, and Command 670.

Upon arrival, fire crews secured the involved vehicle, mitigating any fluid spills and electrical hazards, and assisted with on-scene patient care.

The Roseland First Aid Squad treated the vehicle's occupant at the scene before transporting the patient to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The Roseland Police Department maintained traffic control along the roadway and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
