Cousins work together at Cherry Hill working fire

On September 22, 2026, the Cherry Hill Fire Department and automatic aid units were dispatched to 406 Garden State Drive for the report of a bedroom fire. On arrival, units reported fire showing from a second floor bedroom. Units quickly stretched hand lines and knocked the fire down before it could seriously extend to the attic. Two cousins, Pennsauken Lt Joseph Magliari and Cherry Hill FF John Quigg III were both on duty and able to work the fire together. The fire was placed under control in about 15 minutes.
