On September 22nd, members of the Allendale FD practiced drafting and pump operations at Crestwood Lake. Drafting is a vital skill for pump operators, especially in surrounding towns where hydrants are not always available. The department continues to welcome new members who want to make a difference in their community. Drills are held Thursday nights, offering a firsthand look at what volunteer service is all about. As a 100% volunteer organization, the department depends on community members to step up—they need you!
