Chief Abel and Firefighter Neddenriep Expand EMS Training

East Dover, Vt. — September 19 — Two members of the East Dover Volunteer Fire Department are pursuing further medical training as part of their dedication to emergency response.
According to the department’s September 19 announcement, Chief Abel is working toward his Advanced EMT certification, and Firefighter Neddenriep is pursuing her EMT certification.
The extra training will broaden the medical capabilities within the department and offer both members additional instruction in emergency medical care.
The East Dover Volunteer Fire Department includes medical first response as one of its services and collaborates with Deerfield Valley Rescue, which offers ambulance services in the region. The department congratulated Chief Abel and Firefighter Neddenriep on their ongoing coursework and extended best wishes for their success in the coming months.
