Orland Fire Department Completed Annual Pump Testing

Orland, ME — September 14 — The Orland Fire Department carried out annual pump testing on two fire engines as part of its routine equipment maintenance and training programs.

Engines 511 and 512 were tested at Silver Lake by trained staff from Reliance Equipment of Vassalboro.

The testing ensured that the engines' pumps could deliver the necessary gallons per minute at various pressure levels.Maintaining proper pump performance was essential for providing adequate water supply during structure fires and ensuring the safety of firefighters on the scene.
