Residents, community leaders, and fire service members came together in Durham to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks and honor those who perished.
The remembrance was organized by Durham Fire and Rescue and featured participants from the local community, as well as representatives from Shiloh Chapel, Durham AmVets, and the Town of Durham. The event took place at the Durham Fire and Rescue station, located at 615 Hallowell Road, as noted in the department’s public information and a local event listing.
