Carmel, ME — September 5, 2026 — This week, fire apparatus from Carmel Fire & Rescue underwent annual pump testing, and both units passed the required tests.
The department expressed gratitude to Reliance Equipment for finishing the annual pump testing and noted that both Carmel units passed.
The testing took place at Hermon Pond, and the department also thanked the Hermon Fire Department and the residents of Hermon for permitting Carmel firefighters to use the pond for the operation.
