On Sept. 2nd at 9:00am the Eastern Salisbury And Western Salisbury fire Companies were dispatched for a trash truck fire at Gaskill rd and Salisbury st in Salisbury Township. Engine 20 arrived on the scene and had a working trash truck fire and had the Emmaus and Lower saucon fire departments dispatched for more manpower and went into service with a hand line and had the driver dump the trash in the street. The Lower Saucon fire department handled spill control to keep the run off from going into the storm drains.
