Photo by RON JEFFERSOn September 12th, Jersey City firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in a Reservoir av. restaurant that had extended up the Exposure B wall and into Exposure B, along the narrow alleyway. Three alarms were transmitted for the labor-intensive fire. This was the second multiple-alarm of the afternoon. Firefighters also battled a fire in a downtown high rise building, earlier. The Gong Club canteen supplied copious amount of bottled water to firefighters at both jobs.
