West Paterson house fire with well involved attic on a frigid night
Photo by Todd HollrittWoodland Park, Passaic County - On a bitter cold January 29, 2026, a house fire was reported. and the West Paterson Fire Department was called to Ryle Park Avenue. First units arriving on the scene declared a working fire. The second story attic space of a home was fully engulfed in flames from a ceiling fire that occurred in a bathroom fixture. A hose line was quickly stretched up an interior stairwell to put out the fire with a great knockdown by the first due companies.
