Story No. 091421117

Jersey City officials gathered at the foot of Grand Street on the morning of September 11th to remember those lost as a result of the terrorism attacks on our country in 2001. This location, opposite lower Manhattan, was a large triage site for those transported to Jersey City via boats, including FDNY Marine 1. The Freedom Tower now stands tall on the other side of the Hudson.
