St. George EMS Seeks Full-Time Paramedic

A full-time paramedic is needed to join the EMS department at George Fire & Rescue.


The role provides the chance to serve in a small, community-focused department that delivers mutual help, advanced life support intercepts, and emergency medical services to nearby towns. According to the Town of St. George, the EMS department responds to around 500 calls a year.


Candidates must possess a valid Maine driver's license, a valid Maine EMS paramedic license, and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS, or their equivalents. Although candidates may be willing to complete the required training, firefighter experience is desirable.


The job has a typical full-time schedule of 48 hours per week, including eight hours of paid overtime, and pays $28.65 per hour. In addition, the job offers a benefits package and paid time off.
