Tiffany Martinez Sworn In as Auburn Firefighter/Paramedic

Firefighter/Paramedic Tiffany Martinez was officially sworn in during a ceremony at Auburn Town Hall on Aug. 18.


Martinez joined the Auburn Fire-Rescue Department as a paramedic six years ago. She spent three years working for the City of Marlborough and three years as a full-time firefighter/paramedic with the Southborough Fire Department.


She is a graduate of Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program, Class 321. Martinez also graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy while with the department, according to the town of Southborough’s 2024 annual report. Martinez began her two-week orientation with Auburn on August 17. Her swearing-in the following day formally welcomed her to the department.


Auburn Fire-Rescue provides fire suppression, emergency medical services and specialized response throughout the community. The department operates two paramedic-level ambulances and two paramedic engines.
