Firefighters from Camden Fire & Rescue and the Hope Fire Department participated in a joint training exercise on September 8 in Camden, Maine.
Crews worked together with hose lines, apparatus and other equipment while practicing fireground operations. The exercise also gave members an opportunity to become familiar with each department’s equipment, procedures and operating practices.
Joint training helps neighboring departments prepare for incidents requiring mutual-aid resources and coordinated fireground operations.
