FERRISBURGH, VT — SEPTEMBER 3 — The Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department officially welcomed former cadet Kyle Clark as a full member after he reached the age of 18.Clark had successfully completed the Firefighter I training program and showed the necessary skills and dedication to continue his career as a firefighter.

His transition to adult membership came after participating in the department’s cadet program, which offers a pathway into the fire service for young individuals.

As a full member, Clark is now able to take part in interior fire operations and continues to gain experience through department training and emergency responses.

The department also continued to work with neighboring agencies through mutual-aid operations. Clark’s promotion represents another important step in shaping the department’s future firefighters.
