Canoga, NY — August 17 — Emergency service personnel carried out a simulated mass-casualty incident involving a school bus. The Canoga Volunteer Fire Department was the first to respond during the training exercise. Members from the Fayette, Va rick, and Romulus fire departments, along with North Seneca Ambulance, took part in the drill.

The exercise was set up to allow fire and emergency medical services teams to practice working together during a school bus incident featuring multiple simulated patients.

During the drill, crews operated around the bus while focusing on the coordination, communication, and scene management needed in a large-scale emergency.
