Allamuchy, N.J. — July 23 — Sterling Blake received congratulations from the Allamuchy Fire Department following his graduation from the Warren County Fire Academy's Firefighter I and II courses. Blake finished six months of classroom instruction and practical training that took place on weekends and weeknights. He continued to assist with truck inspections and other firehouse tasks while he was enrolled in the program. He was acknowledged as an asset to the department because of his ability to manage departmental duties with the rigorous training program.

In order to prepare firemen for emergency operations, the Warren County Fire Academy offered both classroom and hands-on training. The address of the Allamuchy Fire Department was 284 Alphano Road. There was no indication of mutual-aid departments taking part in the graduation. Blake received congratulations from the department for finishing his training and carrying on with his community work.
