Rescue Products International's "Air Is Life" firefighter survival course was finished by members of Alpha Volunteer Fire Company, Station 82. Mayday crises and practical skills that firefighters would require in a SCBA-related emergency were the main topics of the training. Members practiced changing emergency SCBA bottles, sharing air via the UEBSS, and deploying a RIT pack with both high- and low-pressure connections. Additionally, the practical training reaffirmed survival techniques that firemen might not employ in every incident.
