Alpha, N.J. — July 23 — Mason Gal received congratulations from the Alpha Volunteer Fire Company following his graduation and completion of Firefighter I and Firefighter II training. Gal's completion of both courses brought another qualified member to the team and was a significant milestone in his growth as a firefighter. Training in fireground operations, safety, equipment use, rescue techniques, and emergency response is offered by Firefighter I and II programs.

Additionally, during mutual-aid assignments, the training enables firefighters to collaborate safely with other agencies. Located at 1109 Lee Ave., the Alpha Volunteer Fire Company provided emergency response and fire protection to the boro. There was no mention of any particular mutual-aid departments taking part in Gal's graduation. Gal received congratulations from the organization for finishing his training and carrying on with his contribution to the local fire community.
