The New Truck Committee of the Washington Boro Fire Department came to Appleton, Wisconsin, for the last inspection of its brand-new ladder truck seventeen years ago. The equipment eventually became a standard component of the department's operations, helping nearby municipalities through mutual aid and responding to fires and other incidents in Washington Boro. After over 20 years of operation, the truck was still helping locals and mutual aid partners.
